Toronto, Ontario (July 24, 2014) – After highly successful performances on Broadway and across the United States, Mike Tyson announced today that he will take his acclaimed one-man show, ""MIKE TYSON: UNDISPUTED TRUTH,"" to Toronto. Penned by his wife, Kiki Tyson, the show will take the stage in Air Canada Centre's intimate theatre setting.

""After a successful run at the MGM in Las Vegas, on Broadway at the Longacre Theatre, and last year's American tour, I'm excited to take 'MIKE TYSON: UNDISPUTED TRUTH' to Toronto and share it with my Canadian fans,"" said Tyson. ""'Undisputed Truth' is my story- I'm giving my all. I'm proud to take the show to a new audience.

""MIKE TYSON: UNDISPUTED TRUTH"" is a rare, personal look inside the life and mind of one of the most feared men ever to wear the heavyweight crown. This riveting one-man show goes beyond the headlines, behind the scenes and between the lines to deliver a must-see theatrical knockout.

By the age of 12, Tyson had been arrested 38 times. His journey from the dangerous streets of Brooklyn in the 1970s and early 1980s to becoming the youngest heavyweight champion of all-time, one of most recognized faces on the planet, and the most incredible fighter of his generation is exceptional. His mistakes, his joys, his sorrow, his life have been the source of countless articles, documentaries, movies, hearsay, and, most of all, fascination. Now, for the first time, Canadian audiences will get to better understand him, listening to Tyson himself.

The coming of ""MIKE TYSON: UNDISTPUTED TRUTH"" to Air Canada Centre's stage is a collaboration of boxing promoter and author of The Future of Boxing Alexandre Choko and Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. ""Mike Tyson is a hero to me and millions of sports fans. His achievements in the ring inspired a generation of a great fighters and athletes that followed,"" stated Choko. ""His struggles and journey to redemption are one of the most powerful human stories I have personally come to know. I'm thrilled to bring this story to a Canadian audience.""

Mike Tyson is a larger-than-life legend both in and out of the ring. Tenacious, talented, and thrilling to watch, Tyson embodies the grit and electrifying excitement of the sport. With nicknames such as ""Iron"" Mike, Kid Dynamite, and The Baddest Man on the Planet, it's no surprise that Tyson's legacy is the stuff of a legend. Tyson was one of the most feared boxers in the ring-- and one look at his resume proves he is one of boxing's greats: Aside from having been the undisputed heavyweight champion, Tyson holds the record as the youngest boxer to win the WBC, WBA and IBF world heavyweight titles. He was the first heavyweight boxer to hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles simultaneously. In 2011 Tyson was also inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame. Tyson's enduring mass appeal owes not only to his incomparable athleticism, but to his huge personality and unrivaled showmanship. And his ability to work a crowd extends far beyond the ring- Tyson's career in entertainment spans blockbuster movies (The Hangover and The Hangover 2), television (the Animal Planet's ""Taking on Tyson""), and his own clothing company (shirts are available on his website). Tyson is also the CEO of his own production company, Tyrannic Productions, and currently has a few film projects in development.

Alexandre Choko brings more than two decades of experience in and out of the ring to his work. In 2007, Choko teamed up with the International Boxing Hall of Fame to create the series of 55 interviews that resulted in ""The Future of Boxing"", a must-have book for fight fans that he authored and published after more than five years of work. Choko traveled around the world to meet the fighters and other important figures of the sport. A former fighter, Choko left the ring to become an independent promoter while also owning, running and promoting one of America's most popular fighting gyms – the renowned Tristar Gym in Montreal. Among the more than 60 events he staged were ""Choko's Boxing Fight Nights, 12 professional boxing cards as well as ""Boys and Toys"", ""Rumble at the Ritz"" and recently Choko created an incredible event at the Montreal Olympic Stadium, a venue that had not been used for professional boxing since the famous 1980 Roberto Duran fight against Sugar Ray Leonard. This show billed as ""Cross Roads"" was broadcasted live from the Big O by ESPN legendary Friday Night Fights and watched by a million viewers.
